On top of that Arum has only a limited number of fights left with Cotto (and a fresh deal with Margarito) so it's entirely possible Bob wants to make sure Cotto goes out of Top Rank (if he does leave), Arum can cash out as soon as possible. The same reason why Arum wants Pac vs Cotto.

hatton came up from 140 to fight mayweather. is it not clear to you, before and after the fight that hatton, clearly is too small for 147?that is why he went back to 140. he is 5'7 for gods sake. pbf is 5'8 1/2. the question was, has pbf fought a smaller man. so you saying a legitimate 140 pounder is not smaller than pbf who has fought as high as 154?

 

Just like Hatton was moving up in division, Mayweather was moving down. This wasn't Hatton's first fight at the weight either and the size difference in the ring was nothing like DLH/Pac. Still, you're right about Hatton being the smaller man just not as small as people exaggerate.
