GL: Why did Margarito take less money to fight Mosley than he was offered to fight Paul Williams?

The Bobfather: The Paul Williams thing was different, with all that Dan Goosen bull****. Typical Dan Goosen and Al Haymon bull****. It never was real, it meant nothing, we knew it meant nothing. These guys wouldn't know how to put on a PPV event if they fell over it.

GL: When you say the $4 million was bull****, does that mean you feel it was never really there?

The Bobfather: It was never there.

    Typical Arum excuse.

More like typical Goossen ****,they did the exact same thing with Dzinziruk.
But we can't know for certain as we aren't in the rooms with them.

You shouldn't believe anything Goosen says either.

In fact I'd just fire off an air horn every time a promoter starts talking

Its easier to believe Goosen in this one when Arum told Goosen to never contact him again about anything to do with a Paul Williams fight.

But Goosen and co also clearly lied about the Dzinrirnruckuk-Paul Williams fight talks.

I'm not saying Arum isn't lying (chances are he is) but we're essentially being between two habitual liars on this one.

BTW will there be a punch for punch for any of the three cards tonight?

True definitely but I just believe Goosen in this because they have been pushing hard for this fight and Arum doesnt want williams to fight any of his guys.

As for the cards, which one do you want to see? (HBO and Showtime? Whats the 3rd?) I can do both, since HBO is in the middle of the day.

I believe there's a Versus card tonight featuring Andre Ward and James Toney-Fres Oquendo. I may be wrong though.

all they've been doing is talking bro....
paul is the type of fighter to call out anybody that's hot at the moment.....

i dont even think there has been a legit offer....plus, goosen dont have that kind of money to be throwing around...

I'm fine with this, I mean Margarito hit the jackpot beating Cotto. Why fight Williams again who is mucha dangerous. It's bad business. Make your moolah whilst you can then and only then do you step it up once you have made a couple wads.
