Im sorry man but you know thats false. Paul has wanted Margo since he beat Cotto. Margo took the number 1 spot, and Williams is the number 2 guy.

Williams was calling everyone else once he was declined by Margo.

I just dont see an excuse for this fight not to happen besides Arum wanting to milk Margo first.

When Margarito didn't want to fight Williams in the first fight, Goosen offer Margarito his biggest payday of 1.6 million dollars and guess what? Goosen won the purse bid and Margarito would still get that biggest payday to fight Williams and Margarito took the offer and he got that biggest payday. If Goosen would offer Margarito his biggest pay day in the first fight then why would he lie about offering Margarito another biggest pay day? Come on biased Margarito fans think please.

First off let us not forget that Goosen did produce a letter from Arum and signed by arum stating that he was turning down the 4 million dollar offer that he is now calling bull****.....As I have said many times Arum is and always has been full of ****....

They did some hokey **** with Pavlik/Williams as well. Goosen claimed Williams wanted to fight Pavlik, Arum made a money offer, Goosen said we need a bit more, Arum went to HBO, Top Rank and HBO came up with the extra money, Goosen said "no thanks."

Exactly. And let's not forget that Arum was more recently looking to put together a unification fight between Williams and Clottey, someone Williams called out in the press but are for some reason are no longer talking about anymore despite Clottey making himself available with Arum's blessing.

What exactly has Goosen done to make him so much more trustworthy in some people's eyes? Absolutely nothing. The OP simply has a hater agenda. The other one I hear often is "Arum is afraid of losing his cash cow". Please, Margarito is an established draw now, especially with Mexicans, win or lose. And its not like Arum doesn't have other big fighters to boost his bank account. Now on the flipside, who besides Paul Williams (who isn't even a big draw or big money fighter) does Goosen have in his stable? James Toney:rofl:rofl:rofl Did you see that pathetic VS card he put on the other week? What was the last PPV that Goosen did? Mayweather vs Baldomir:rofl:rofl:rofl

Clottey is still waiting for an answer Goosen!!

Its funny how they can ignore Clottey who they know would spank PW for less money than Margo would.

You're only reciting the Bob Arum story. Arum claims he came up with the money and Goosen said no. Goosen claims they never agreed upon money, and Pavlik says that he turned down the fight in order to fight Hopkins because he didn't feel he would get credit for beating a Welter.

"I will slap Clottey around. I know my fans would love to see it. They can contact my peoples and it's a done deal. Now they won't be able to get any sleep. They shouldn’t have said that and now its too late to take it back. They want to fight me - lets make it happen! There is no going back now. All they have to do is contact my people and it's a done deal. I don't want no excuses when I slap Clottey around. I may knock him back to Ghana,"

    -Paul Williams

Top Rank has yet to contact Goosen regarding a Williams/Clottey fight. Being that Arum already told Goosen not to contact him regarding Williams, it's up to Top Rank to send Goosen an offer for this fight.

Arum has yet to contact Goosen regarding a Williams/Clottey fight.

That fight did over 300k. The last Top Rank ppv(Pac vs. Diaz) did under 200k

Will you please shut the **** up! Margo-Mosley isn't a bigger fight than Williams-Margo 2 and neither is Margo-Cotto 2 a man he made quit and it's not even worth a rematch in the first place. You Margo huggers are pathetic and will say anything that will keep Margo out of the ring with his daddy Williams. Much bigger fights out there? Get the **** outta here.:-( Williams is Margo's biggest payday and the biggest fight that could be made at 147.:deal
