Top Rank hasn't contacted anyone about Clottey.

Just more pitiful excuses from those who want to see someone else do what they know Margarito can't do. Beat Paul Williams. Hiding behind the promoter and other fighters is a ***** move.

But it's cool. Paul has definitely moved on. He ain't really worried about making money on Margarito. There are other boxers out there and he'll be just fine.:good

If he just works on his game and tighten up some of his flaws, he'll get the chance to prove himself again.

Money's worth?:rofl:lol: There was no one in the crowd. Typical bull**** opponent for Margo when he could have fought PBF instead.

I didn't say he ducked him. I said he didn't take the date when PBF offered it to him learn the difference.

    Like Golden Johnson?
    Like Zab?
As impressively as the decision over Clottey?
As impressively as the decision over Shane?

    GTFO!

Pwned:lol: And we're talking about Goosen here, not PBF. How many more fights did Floyd do with Goosen? While in contrast, Margarito's doing bigger PPV numbers now and Goosen is putting on pathetic cards at the Morongo for VS and his biggest fighter fights on BAD.:deal What exactly about that makes anyone think he has all this money to throw around?

If anyone is afraid of losing his meal ticket, its Goosen, which is why he moved PW out of 147 and is matching him against no-name bums like Kolle, or well past their prime ex-champs/journeymen like Phillips or even Sharmba Mitchell. He can't keep calling everyone out and continue to match him like this. Something's gotta give. Dzindriruk's ready to fight him and start negotiations and they're already claiming he's turned them down before they've even started to negotiate. So it's not just Arum. Apparently everyone is lying except for Goosen:-(.

You're right that Kelly didn't want the fight, but he did not turn it down. He said he would take it. And there is no reason to doubt the rest of the story Arum told. Goosen made money demands, Top Rank and HBO met them, and Goosen said "no thanks." Top Rank was very honest about not being able to meet Mora's financial needs. He needed some extra to pay Phillips step aside money. That was in the same time period. There's no reason to think they told the truth about Mora, but lied about Williams. Furthermore, the Williams deal was off the table before Duncan asked KP about Hopkins.

I think Arum is telling the truth in this one guys, Goosen is a snake, not like Arum is much different but there is no way I see them comming up with that kind of Money for a Williams Margarito rematch.

The fight itself IMO will do better than a rematch with Williams, a rematch with Cotto is a big fight at welter weight, Nobody is demanding a Williams rematch the public just dont accept him as they have Mosley and Cotto and Margarito.

I can tell you this, Had Tony fought Cotto and beat him a year prior when they were talking about fighting, and Lost to Paul Williams in the next fight, then there would be more of a demand. Williams's biggest mistake was beating Margarito before Margarito was able to get in there with a big name in the sport.

Opting to fight Quintana over Clottey or Margarito, and then losing to him I thought was also a big mistake.

You have no real reason to believe either guy, yet you choose to think Arum is a liar, since Floyd hates him. And you hate who Floyd hates. As for who I believe? Who really gives a ****.
