Money man. He's after all he can get. This guy is no different than any of them. Been like this his whole career, turning down fights with Hamed, Morales, Pacquiao citing the money wasn't enough, when he wasn't nobody back then. If history repeats itself, he'll sign on with Golden Boy, fight Judah for 2-3 million and lose and he'll have ****ed himself again. Then he'll cry that Pacquiao ducked him

 

He'll fight Sergio alright. Pac never said he won't, but at 150. The same weight he fought Margo. 154 is too much for him it seems.

 

It's a sad truth that this is just a money fight for Marquez. Pac has nothing to prove anymore.

 

In actual lbs, yes.

From a functional standpoint, Pac has shown an increase in power and overall looks very comfortable over 135.

The disparity, imo, will be in how each fighter reacts to the others power shots. Though there's always been a disparity, Pac's advantage in this area is now tremendously greater; to the point where the fight now appears to be a mismatch, imv.

 

Pacroid makes a good chunk of change fighting any of the choices you outlined, but none of those matchups net him mega-money.

Everyone of thos matchups would do well under 1 million PPV buys.
Personally I think the Mosley match will not reach 1 million buys......

......a Marquez matchup because of its history will imo reach well over 1 million ppv sales, likely about 1.5million.......thats why Arum when previously was dismissing Marquez, now because he does'nt have to share that money with GBP, wants the fight made.


Pacroid can fight Bradley or Berto, but it would'nt sell half as many PPV as a Marquez match would.

......this is why Marquez has some leverage to which to negotiate a bigger % than what Arum was laughably offering Marquez before the Mosley fight was made for Pacroid.
