Great, this is a rematch i love to see.
Now match sugar shane in with clottey and pacquiao with Mayweather and im a happy man.

 

Margarito doenst deserve another big payday but Cotto already said that he wants the rematch and he deserves it. I think Cotto should fight around Feb-March timeframe (probably with JCC Jr) and then Cotto-Marg II as a co-main event along with JML-Gamboa in June.

 

or shane vs. berto if they cannot find clottey.

I dont know how I feel about this fight. On one side I would love to see a WW3 battle but on the other hand I know this fight will end one mans career. Who knows how much Pac took outta Margo and who knows how much Cotto can take at this stage. I gotta feeling its gonna be like Vaz/Marquez #4.

A part of me wants this to happen, cos Cotto deserves Redemption, n another part of me doesn't want it to happen cos I dnt think Margo deserves to box again...

 

Either one. Like I said at this point we dont know how much each has left. Ill tell you this much though @ 154 if the Margo that came in the first fight shows up, I gotta feeling Cotto is gonna suffer an early stoppage.

 

Remember that margarito is going downhill after 2 brutal beatings and the inactivity. He would make some nice money again vs cotto. Cotto has steward in his corner now adn looked good against foreman. I think cotto wins this one by ud.

 

Guranteed this would be a FOTY candidate. Cotto will give absolutely everything he's got left against the guy that (possibly illegally) derailed what was on the way to becoming an immense career. I hope the fight gets made and I hope Cotto absolutely destroy Marg.

 

Would be a great fight, if Margo cames in with same heart and determination like he did against Pac, i think Cotto would lose.

 

Cotto is just more mentally broken than Marg. You can see in the Clottey and Pac fights Cotto is different mentally. While in the Pac fight Marg was still there mentally, driving forward through barrages of punches. It might also be more of a mental edge that Marg made it through the 12 with Pac while Cotto was stopped after running around for 6 rounds.
