    Maybe with the return of Mayweather, Arum figures he can finally make the Pacquiao fight happen,so there's less of a rush to get the middleweight title in Cotto's hands in time to rematch Pacquiao for his "9th" world title

    As far as I know the Official WBC Rulebook says that the regular champ MUST fight the emeritus when he excercises his right to go for the regular belt so if (at least according to WBC's rules which of course mean little compared to Don Jose's oral law), if Chavez Jr. doesn't fight Sergio Martinez, he'll get stripped.

    I'm excited to see how Arum and Sulaiman will go around it. Maybe wait until, with no top opponent stepping up, Maravilla signs for a Manfredo calibre fight, and then strip him for it...
