Arum DEEP under Schaefer's skin. Is it JUST the Sept. 15 date?

Been thinking about something I've 'seen'. An interview giving Arum's and Schaefer's side of the story on the September head to head. I was kind of shocked to see the language Schaefer used in blatant personal attacks on Arum.

The September conflict didn't seem to warrant the extent of Schaefer's vitriol. Is there something to the positive Mayweather test story that has him under a lot of stress? For the CEO of a company to start calling his rival pure evil seems a bit unstable.

Arum "I have heard, just like you have probably heard, where people have paid money to get exemptions for people that have tested positive. ThatÂ’s a little scary."

Now we find out that Arum is going after Floyd's test results using Floyd's counter suit as a basis?

Could this be the reason for Schaefer's personal attack and obvious agitation?

I'm starting to believe there may be a fire with the smoke. Still early but I'm starting to lean in that direction. I hope not because boxing doesn't need this kind of black eye, but the chips will fall where they belong.

Your logic makes perfect sense. Someone using strong language towards Arum(I know, shocking that someone could dislike him) means that Mayweather is using PEDs.

Mayweather is definitely on PEDs, no doubt about it.

Arum is the CEO of his company. I saw an interview once where he said that Vivian Harris is a piece of garbage, he constantly berates De La Hoya and calls him an idiot, he's said plenty of nasty things about Mayweather. He told the fans that they could go **** themselves, and so on. I guess his fighters are on PEDs which is why he's acting out.

Arum seems 'unnaturally' calm of late. Schaefer, not so much.

I possibly could be reading too much into Schaefer's reaction because of timing. I just don't ever remember seeing this kind of behavior from him before. Maybe he has behaved this way and I've missed it?

According to Golden Boy and USADA that all of Mayweather's drug testing are negative and yet they don't want to divulge them in public, which makes all of them suspicious..

Why keep them if they have nothing to hide.

I think he may just be pissed that his big money canelo clash crashed and burned with victor ortiz's cracked jaw, and now his card cant compete with top rank's card.

And why don't his fans who claim Floyd is in this to clean up the sport want him to STFU his detractors? This has been the biggest mystery of all and is what has given this whole thing life on this board.

That's fine, but don't you think it's a stretch to say that because Scahefer is annoyed at Arum(keep in mind that they both have popular fighters fighting on the same key date) that it somehow equates to Mayweather taking PEDs? There is little logic in your argument. Schaefer is not a lawyer, and is not involved in Mayweather's case against Pacquiao. Arum is not Pacquiao's lawyer and has little to do with what's going on in that case.

This predates that. 6/19 on the article.
