I readily admit I could be reading too much into this based on what I perceive is a severe over reaction by Schaefer. I'm just speculating that the stress and vitriol he showed in the interview wasn't simply about the September date and he MIGHT have some pressures that make that conflict seem minor by comparison. For all I know his parakeet is sick.

The results without the methodology doesn't mean much. You can't even call it science without that. I'm sure the testing center uses science in the testing, but we aren't getting those results.

What organization is displaying every last detail of their testing protocals? Exactly what information are you looking for?

    None that I know of.

Does a private contract allow for positive results to be quashed.

The C&D letter raised the question. Most of us hadn't really thought about it before that.

At minimum, Cotto should have had FULL access to the reports on Floyd and vice versa, not just the Cliff notes version that the USADA puts out. Right now USADA and VADA both hire the same labs to test samples. They then interpret the results and put out a finding. Interpret becomes the point at issue here.

Dude, they have published all of the test results publicly. In press releases and posted them on their homepage.

Are you implying that Cotto cannot read or use a PC?:think

They published their findings, not the test results. If there is no difference in their findings and the actual test results then what is the problem? There is none and this should have been cleared up a long time ago.

Show me where the list a testosterone ratio for either fighter then. THAT is the test result, not the REPORT of their finding on the test results. Now do you see the difference?

I'm pretty sure that would be against their policy as it would defeat the purpose of the entire process.

I don't think it would make any sense to allow something like that in the contract. Again, it defeats the whole purpose of the testing

How do you know he doesn't? Furthermore, what you're saying would imply that that they are lying in regards to the testing results that they've published.

I think the problem is that you're listening to the wrong people. The USADA serves a very important purpose in terms of testing in this country. They've adopted the WADA code, and there a lot of policies and procedures in place. They can't simply make up test results. Frankly, the idea of USADA having some sort of elaborate cover up that would allow Mayweather to test positive under their watch without any reprecussions sounds completely ridiculous. It simply makes no sense. The USADA is still going after Lance Armstrong, yet they are going to bend the rules, and risk their integrity just to help Mayweather freely use PEDS??:huh The chances of that being the case are next to zero.

Yeah, all logical. What does that have to do with boxing? :D

That's why none of this makes sense. Simply ask some trusted third party to look at it and verify that there is nothing strange going on and this would have been over a long time ago.
