Bob Arum has routinely spoken about the two-day orgy he participated in after the Thrilla in Manila with Ali and his team. I don't think the topic hit a nerve so much as Mike Coppinger saying something incredibly rude. Framed/worded differently, Arum wouldn't have snapped.

 

While I'm no fan of Arum reporters truly do su#k.

I'll cop to that charge, Adele is rancid. The wholly irrational widespread laudation and feting of that middlingly talented (at best), squawking, insipidly maudlin and oafish product of a Croydon performing arts school is among the century's most inexplicable phenomena.

Was hilarious, too. I grow weary of this recent abundance of quota women presenters invading my male sanctuary. I loved hearing Bob refer to her as "this broad" and "this woman" before following up with "**** her and **** them". Her social media post about it afterwards was the cherry on top.

I get the T&A angle, that's what ring card girls were supposed to be for. These networks need to get the Abdos, Jamas and Woolhouses the hell off TV boxing and toss the eye-clawingly lame catfights that nobody asked for (and which take opportunities away from men with families to look after) while they're doing it.
