What they said was that they had the MGM Grand date of May 5th and they want to fight "the little fella". How do they know Pac is available for that date? How do they know Pac will be victorious against JMM? The smart thing to do would have been to wait till the outcome of Pac/JMM, and if Pac is victorious, have your people contact Pac's people and start a negotiation.

Personally I feel the MGM is way too small a venue for a fight of this magnitude. Bob even went on the record to say: "why not shop around and see who offers the best site fee? There are larger arenas such as Sam Boyd Stadium in LV or Cowboys stadium which can hold 3x the live gate audience the MGM can.

Because they are directly involved in Manny's camp and are in the know. Whereas, Sr. is on the outside, bitterly looking in and giving his own uneducated opinion. Why would someone believe what ARUM says? Bob Arum? Really?

Did he? Or did he give Floyd a deadline in which to start negotiation so that they can get the ball rolling or else Pac will move on? Basically, "Let us know by this date if you're serious or we will take on someone else"

Roger Mayweather is directly involved in Floyd's camp and he contradicts himself all the time.. At first he said, "the fight is never going to happen" and then "Floyd needs to focus on Manny"..

Arum is always proving people wrong, hate him or not.. Everyone called bull**** when he said GBP offered Morales a fight with Mayweather, but now Morales was interviewed and confirmed it..

Ellerbe isn't a trustworthy person either if you want to think about it..

Man log off for real. Small venue my b$tt. Mgm grand is the same place that holds biggest fights such as De la hoya vs Trinidad, Holyfield vs Lewis rematch, Tyson vs Holyfield, De la hoya vs Vargas and so on but its too small venue for mayweather vs pacquiao?

To be honest, I don't put too much stock in anything that any of these people are saying. As I see it RIGHT NOW, Floyd's camp has stated a desire to fight Manny and all Arum is doing is giving reasons why it won't or can't happen. So who looks like they are trying to make a fight?

But I would believe almost anyone over Arum (Ellerbee, Koncz, Floyd, etc.), who was already called out for lying by the mediator back in '09. I personally don't put into what Pac himself says because he works for Arum and really has no say in anything. He just fights whoever they put in front of him.

Another RECENT example of people from Floyd's camp giving us reasons to believe a Pacquiao fight could happen. Ellerbee and Haymon are the only people who are directly involved with Floyd's business.

Arum is not always proving people wrong, not sure where that comes from. But he does lie, he robs us of fights we want to see because of greed, he is a snake, and a nasty, ill-tempered old man who makes in house fights to keep all the money to himself.

You're right, he didnt talk directly to Floyd's advisor or Floyd himself. Ross Greenburg did. What was Ross's conclusion? "You're going to have to ask Floyd why the fight didnt happen"

They could be. But how do we really know? Floyd always mentions Ellerbee and Haymon as his go-to-guys, and that if you hear anything from anyone but those two it's not true. I believe Floyd has even said this regarding Roger recently (when he was quoted as saying Floyd might take on Spaddy).

That was only during the 2nd round of negotiations. Arum was caught doing all kinds of lying in rounds 1 and 3.
