Arum has big plans for John Duddy

Thats great, but JC Jr and Foreman outbox Duddy, Pavlik ends his career.

 

Put Chavez Jr. against someone half decent already.

I disagree about Chavez Jr. He is a complete joke who has been fighting complete nobodies on PPV in Mexico.

Arum "talked about". WOW. Solid stuff. atsch Arum has talked about maybe 50 different opponents for Pavlik.

 

Ticket sellers always gets a pass and preference.

 

Duddy might not even beat Vanda. The guy is a bum. Plain and simple. Arum should be arrested for conspiracy to commit murder if he puts Duddy in with Pavlik.

 

Duddy actually needs to sign with Arum to have any plans for him. That hasn't actually happened yet. Until a court releases him from his contract with Irish Ropes, all of this is just talk.

That said, Foreman and Pavlik would both kick Duddy's ass.

 

If Arum becomes Duddys promoter permanently, would it not seem counter productive to put him, an undefeated contender in the ring with another one of his fighters (Pavlik). In saying that he made the Cotto Margarito fight too though. It would make more sense for Arum to make fights at 154. It seems John is determined to make up for lost time however and I think he really wants a go at Pavlik.

 

I hope you've got money on that.

 

I'd manuver Duddy into the currently vacant 154 pound IBO title, and then have him make a nice living defending it against guys like Bundrage, Mora, Brewer at MSG, and some Irish kids in Dublin. Keep him safe, and making money.
