    Abu Dhabi / Qatar has so much surplus money that they want to take some risk hosting this megafight. It's a huge investment that might result to huge profit.

    Remember the fight will still be held in Nevada (Vegas) or some other state.

    They would have to have it late at night in Qatar, say midnight or 2am to get optimal PPV figures, that just isn't practical, Arrum is just using it as a negotiating chip to get more money from the casinos

    Not fair on the boxers making them fight in desert heat.

    Plus Qatar wouldn't host it with an eye to making money from the event, it'd be to put abu dhabi on the global map, same way they're pouring hundreds of millions sterling into a no hope english football club. In the sense they've got no hope of ever seeing that money again.
