    "if he defeats maorga in march he will face margarito in a rematch in june in new york,i will then consider putting cotto against chavez jr at 160 for the wbc middleweight titles (he would be looking for a fourth divisional title), and then close the puerto ricans career with a pacquiao rematch"


    steward has also stated that cotto looks to avenge his only two defeats against margarito and pacquiao and that his development has been phenomenal and thinks that cotto will ko mayorga with a left to the body.

    aha,now it becomes clear:
    martinez ****ed over: zbik champion:chavez beats zbik: chavez champion: cotto vs chavez 160: winner faces pacman for the 160 belt probably at 155 or something.
    honestly it is a good path from a cotto perspective allthough I think he can fight more then that.

    Cotto VS Pac for WBC Middleweight title would be like 2 lightwelterweights (drain 'm) fighting for a MW crown... makes sense... :roll:

    Good winnable fights for Cotto except Pac at 154 or less. If Cotto manage to achieve that, would be a big surprise because with Cotto frame and small hands I was never expect him to become a 3 weight class champion never less 4.

    There are so many belts flying around, you don't need to fight the best to become a multi weight class champion. Especially if the best are getting stripped.
