Bob Arum is one of the biggest reasons MMA is slowly taking over. People like he and Don King are killing boxing.

 

Bob Arum is the reason why we still talk about boxing. He is by far the best promoter in boxing...anyone who says otherwise is just regurgitating herd mentality. Look at his fight cards over the past 5 years and look at his competitors. Thank you!!

 

Either you are related to him or you need to find another sport.

 

I never liked his undercards. He does not put competitive fights on his undercards because he is trying to build those fighters up for a main event some day and does not want to have them lose. He has not helped boxing much. Don King has helped boxing. King gave us undercards which were competitive as well as the main event. Not Arum.

It isn't so much Arum and King at fault. They've been hosed by the system on contractual obligations to arrogant pros who they've spoon fed their entire careers.

I strongly dislike the fact that two guys in the main event make so much money that it kills the undercard. However, when morons run out to buy **** like 'The Event', you are proving Arum right. You are proving that no matter what kind of turd he puts on your plate you will purchase it. Because you're an idiot (if you bought it).

 

Arum should be forced to be in the most embarassing of mma holds on the ground.

regardless of Arum's role in boxing history, you can't deny that it was a shitty undercard.
