The bars around where I live didn't even bother to buy Saturday's fight.

The undercard was horrible, and I am surprised some people think it wasn't.

We've gotten to the point where we don't expect much from undercards, but in the early days of PPV the entire card was an "event". You had a huge main event, then at least a couple of main event-type fights on the undercard. Nowadays, you're lucky to get a compelling main event, and the undercards appear to be matched more to limit the cost to the promoter than to please the fans.

You're a fool. Bob Arum has had access to the best stars. Good for him. He's MISMANAGED the **** out of them for personal reasons. INEXCUSABLE. Do yourself a favor and go lecture people who don't follow Bob Arum's movements DAILY. You must be kidding. We know who we're dealing with.

I really hate the way boxing is run :patsch

Promoters and managers shouldnt even be in the game. There should be a international ranking body that governs fights and rankings, so we can get rid of all of this ducking, cherry picking, tomato can feasting, and stealing fighters purses

I really ****ing hate promoters, ****ing mafiosos

Bob Arum is full of ****. He knew he created a crap undercard when it was named. Each fight on there served a purpose. Duddy-the bum off the street was served to get Mexican American Fans familiar with Duddy. Gomez-Castillo and Soto-Diaz served to get more Mexican fans to tune in to supplement the Pacquiao-Disgrace to Ghana numbers.

Arum is known for putting on horrible undercards. I actually thought Saturday's undercard had some decent fights on it. No one elite or any great names on there but they atleast looked like action fights on paper. I was wrong and it turned out to be, probably, the worst ppv I've ever seen.

Arum can do some good things and he still knows how to promote his fights. He has fights lined up in Dallas and Yankee Stadium this year and he always seems to line up television dates. like he did with Versus, Fox, and Telefutura. But he then proceedes to destroy those things. The Dallas card was awful, Yankee Stadium has Yuri Foreman in the main event, and the way he absolutely destroyed the Versus Channels boxing cards was criminal.
