Contractual obligations are not absolute. People who have never studied Contract Law often think that what is written and signed is Law. Not so fast. Even if he is contractually obligated, there are certain events that materially alter the conditions under which Arum's consideration must be performed. One of these events is that Margo is responsible for doing something that ultimately renders perfomrance of Arum's end virtually impossible, or even unnecessarily burdensome. This definitely falls into that category, and thus a lawsuit would not be a viable option for Margo if Arum decides not to risk his own living for the sake of promoting him.

If anything, the most a court would give Margo is the option to be released from his contract with Arum. And that would be a severe stretch due to the fact that it was Margo that caused the unnecessary burden.

You sound like you know more about this than me. Not hard. BUT, has Arum already shot himself in the foot by saying Margo shouldn't be held accountable for the corner's action? I believe Arum is a lawyer no? I'd have to think he had the upper hand in what the contract actually says.

Quick edit. Isn't it funny how one minute everyone is calling Arum a liar and the next they are taking what he says as gospel?
