Arum interested in promoting Usyk

Dealing with promoters is a lot like masturbating with a cheese grater. Yeah, sure it gets the job done but it’s just painful.

I’m not trying to paint with a broad brush here but every single boxing promoter is a lying, cheating, incompetent thief. They all reek of taco meat and cheap cologne.

Ruining this sport.

If Fury AJ doesn't happen in 2021 and I hear even a mention from AJ's side that Arum is playing hardball then (and I hate to say it & i'm sorry) I hope Arum trips over and doesn't get back up again.

Loma situation isn't anything special or too big upset.
Upset might been only that Lopez won on cards. I expected that this fight will not go till cards and anyone from these both is capable to win this one.
I even had expected that Lomo will more struggle vs Campbell because Luke is skilled and pretty large for Loma.

 

Usyk needs to stay away from big-nose Bob and stick with a promoter who is not of that persuasion and who matches his orthodox Christian faith. Arum is a snake who is on record saying the fighters are nothing to him. He uses boxers like farm animals. Hell, Don King looks like a saint compared to him. Just stick with a European promoter in association with DAZN. I’m sure he can get the fury and Joshua fights that way without resorting to Big nose bob

Great description. I view them the same way. However, the entire sport is rife with people who lack loyalty. It will take someone with DEEP pockets, e.g., Bezos, Zuckerberg, Gates, or Musk to come along and clean up the mess. Then again, they’d have to overpay for everything to drive other promoters out. They’re all about making money, so that’s a nonstarter. Plus, those type of guys are not fight fans. An honest promoter wouldn’t last long in boxing without a sadistic appetite for repeated betrayal.

Bobs a smart guy and he knows the business. He also realizes that Fury will most likely end up beating AJ and have the rematch and then he’d also have Usyk in house if he gets him and can get both sides.

 

Hes better off at Matchroom who have Joshua, Povetkin, Whyte, Parker, Hrgovich, Zhang, Majidov, Fury, Bakole, Wardey etc

Yeah some of those latter names prob arent gonna be too exciting but overall the best fights for Uysk are at this stable.

At Top Rank they have Fury, Pulev, Jennings. Unless Pulev wins theres one good fight for him there so makes no sense.

I agree that 135 is too big for him, if someone does have doubts might look him vs Campbell. Loma looked really small if compare with Luke Campbell.
