Arum is BAD for Boxing

Certain boxers because they are dumb as a bag of rocks allow thrmseves to be easily conned. Its their fault a fool and he's money are easily parted, can't give out and be jealous that arum is doing the parting

Ali,holyfield,Tyson,Holmes, etc almost all went broke at some stage or retired penniless because they were dumb, not because someone robbed them, if you allow yourself to be robbed and sign contracts that rob you, then its your own fault

 

Now that I can agree with. But you gotta know, that is the job description of every promoter, seriously you just described every promoter in not only BOXING but MMA as well.

 

Actually it would be their managers fault as they are paid to look after these types of things that the fighters especially in eras past didn't focus on, their job was training and fighting and winning not reading contracts. Ali never should have let Herbert Muhammad take over as his manager from Dundee, who Ali could've trusted. It wasn't until Ali let his Nation brother start looking after his affairs that Ali started finding himself in financial problems, where he should have had millions in earnings.

 

Actually Ali started off with a pretty sweet with that Kentucky sindicate and Dundee as he's trainer but then he got caught up . All that black nationalism and how the white man was screwing so he decided he needed that guy in charge of he's money lol

That guy then fleeced him while the guys hr had before were good.

If pacquaio is even considering Horn, that's a clear indication he needs to retire

 

So Arum is killing Boxing because a shot Pacquiao with nothing to prove, who's clearly only making a few bucks before permanent retirement, is making a fatal mistake for not fighting a dangerous young upcoming fighter?.

Arum will do us all a huge flavor if he kills idiots like you before killing the sport.

Arum speaks much more truth overall then UFC's Dana White to be fair. A different set up however.

 

Arum used to work and help make super fights but for awhile its been mostly ''in-house promotion fights with top rank's own stable'' at welterweight for example.

 

multiple belts in the same weight divisions, no same day weigh ins, multiple promoters thinking only about self interest. Refs need to be updated and need to be tested every 6 months on scoring. That's just off the top of my head

Arum knows he makes money whoever Pac fights and reasons the longer he can stretch it out before Manny's next loss, the more money he makes. The classic promoter strategy for the semi-shot elite fighter winding down his career and topping up his pension. Pac's legacy isn't under threat so expect this to go on for a while...
