I have heard both Arum and Cotto calling out Floyd, but I have never heard Mayweather saying that he wants to fight Cotto.

Delahoya was willing to fight him...Cotto's team knows Floyd want nothing to do with him. Cotto's people isn't about to wait for the prima donna to mention Cotto, they will continue fighting and keeping busy. Sooner or later Floyd will have no choice but fight Miguel...especially when he realizes he can't draw flies to **** without a big name as his opponent.:dealRight now he has a false sense that he is actually a major draw in boxing...but let's see how he do without the big names like Oscar and Hatton.

Cotto's team even stated they want a big money fight with DLH rather than a more meaningful fight with Floyd.

Want to talk about pulling flies to ****? Cotto has only had one decent PPV and that was with Shane. Cotto has only pulled over 300k once. The rest were either 225k or lower. Talk about bringing flies to ****.

Floyd stated he wanted some time off which he is getting. Floyd saw that Cotto's team wanted DLH and not him, so Floyd listened to DLH and went for the big money.

Arum is so afraid of Cotto losing he gave him the easier fight possible while he hypes up Margo.

Why didn't Cotto fight Cintron? Cintron was calling to unify and Arum said Cintron must vacate for that fight to happen. Yet he allows Cintron to fight Margo. Proof is right there. :deal

How can Mayweather go after someone who's management doesn't want to put him in there.

Arum has already locked Cotto in for the next year and half (unless Cotto decides to vacate both belts) after he unifys

Next year and a half? I think he'll fight Gomez next, then Margarito and then Clottey. He'll fight 3 times this year. Then he's free and Arum's only option will be to put him against Mayweather in early or mid 2009.

    Oh yeah...**** Arum.

Good way of spinning things. What about Mayweather fighting Williams then?

I dont think that Cotto would have a problem fighting Floyd, however.....Arum does. Arum has been burned several times already going after Floyd with what was at the time his number one fighters. Once with Chico(RIP) and then with Castillo. I think that Arum is looking to get Cotto some more big fights first. I still think that he wants the Cintron Margo winner. Problem is I think that either Cintron or Margo could beat Cotto.

But in the end Arum cant stop this fight, its like a perfect storm coming together. The only two things cant stop this fight Cotto losing, and Mayweather retiring. I think that Arum is looking to make maxium money with Cotto before he fights Floyd and really I dont blame him cuz Cotto will lose that fight.

Cotto's teams wanted DLH because Floyd claimed he was going to take a very long vacation...and literally said he had nothing more to prove at 147...hmmm Cotto is at 147.

Evangelista Cotto actually said: "We prefer a fight against De la Hoya because it is more marketable than a fight against Mayweather".

****ing excuses:patsch You mean to tell me that you actually think Williams wouldn't jump at the chance to fight Floyd? He would've pulled out of the Quintana fight if he knew he had a chance to fight PBF.:deal
