Arum is probably gonna put Pac-Marquez 3 on Showtime!

Arum talks about how HBO and Showtime are offering huge deals for the Pac-Marquez 3 fight. HBO is offering a similar deal as the Mayweather fight is getting (cross platform promotion, etc.), and Showtime is offering the CBS connection again.

Arum kept talking about Showtime in the article. I bet he is gonna keep Pac at Showtime from here on out, unless HBO makes a massive offer.

Even still, expect to be watching Pac-Marquez 3 on Showtime.....

I might be wrong, but I just have a strong feeling about it...

real simple here, complicate the Mayweather fight by signing with Showtime..... who did not see this one comming? I had a very bad feeling when they announced Manny was moving over to showtime for the Mosley fight... Everybody knows Mayweather is an HBO fighter, and now look even should Manny agree to testing (which he says he is willing on video) Now we have this obsitcal to deal with...
Sure Manny is doing everything he can to make the fight happen right?

 you have to think hard for this one and put another point for floyd in this blame game right? which could easily be solved if both showtime and HBO carries the PPV.

They only did it once before, and it was FAR from easy.

well, pac has no exclusive tie-up with showtime unlike tyson so most likely HBO would get it but as i said, they have done it before so it would be less difficult this time i assume.

well look at the bright-side. if pac-jmm3 turns into another boring cat and mouse game, which would never happen coz jmm is a true mexican warrior, they would still have a fantastic post-fight 360. this is also true if floyd-pac happens and turn into a disappointing shitter.

Floyd:"I lost the urge to fight"
    *****s: "Pac is Ducking"
    Floyd: "I'm on vacation"
*****s: "Pac is Ducking clear as day"
Floyd: "I'm not thinking of fighting anyone"
*****s: "See, Pac is clearly Ducking"
Floyd signs a fight with HBO and Arum hinting Pac will stay on Showtime....
*****s: "I know it, Pac's avoiding Floyd and complicating this fight by signing with Showtime"

This is how it goes in the world of the *****S :rofl:rofl:rofl

This just shows how strong boxing is right now: two premium networks are trying to outbid and one-up each other to land two seperate fights. Each side will try to outpromote and outdraw the other to the benefit of boxing in general.

I am glad to see boxing regarded highly enough to start bidding wars again.

Valid point. Hopefully we get the fight we all want to see.
