Tim Bradley, that top 5 Welterweight who has gradually been declining since his initial noticeable regression when he moved up from Junior Welter a few years back? As opposed to Erislandy Lara, the likely rightful number one Junior Middleweight?

Look at size and if you can ****yze styles to any degree whatsoever you can realize how one fight is an intriguing match up and one fight is a gigantic unworthy cash grab.

Kudos to Bradley for stepping up while all the so called 160 elite are hiding & avoiding GGG Really I hope the fight doesn't happen because I fear for Bradleys well being if it does. He has all the heart in the world its a pity the rest of the 160's don't show a little

If Bradley did the unthinkable and somehow managed to beat Golovkin, I wonder if the Cotto-Canelo winner would be willing to face him?

Guys we are talking about Bradley's life here. This shouldn't be allowed to happen.

What a farce of a fight this would be.

Bradley is the bigger name, but would GGG's fans give him any credit for beating the smaller man?

This is very similar to fighting Chavez Jr or Ward. Beating Chavez Jr does a lot more for Golovkin than beating Ward given that a Chavez Jr fight is a PPV match. Chavez Jr is a bigger name than Ward and so is Bradley a bigger name than Lara. Plus the difficulties of getting HBO and PBC together is not worth it when a big name is willing to face you.

It may look bad, but than it would be Bradley who is challenging him. Take Canelo, didn't he build his career by fighting undersized fighters who were even less worthy than Bradley? Even Floyd received some credit for beating Marquez.

It's either Welterweights or tomato cans for Golovkin and his mentally incapable fans are happy.

I know what you're saying. It's better for his bank account, yes.

But it is not better for his legacy.

EDIT: Bradley opposed to Lara that is. Besides the verbal calling out and not having a fight lined up, Lara is a cheap fighter relative to his ranking... Sure Bradley is better than facing Adama or Ishida or the like, but there are plenty better options. It would just feel (and look) so wrong. I would predict Golovkin to KO him literally no more than half way through the 3rd round.

The PBC and Al Haymon are killing Tims potential legacy

    Porter
    Thurman
    Broner
    Garcia
    Mayweather

Really all that's left to really enhance tim at welter is not available to him, so one can understand his position for wanting big fights.

But hey, him vs brook will be big should brook beat up rios.... if Bradley is able to beat Brook at this stage it would give him all his momentum back. And Crawford is coming up and can be a potentially big fight for him, so he just needs a little patience and things might open back up for him.

I like Bradley; he's an excellent fighter. Not physically big enough for this one though

There really should be a petition to stop this fight from happening. Bradley is too small, not enough power, and Golovkin is dangerously big. Plus, he doesn't have mercy on his opponents at all! He said it himself, he doesn't care if there is blood or broken bones. He's in there to KILL! I really hope Bradley is just bluffing.

Why would Bradley subject himself to this? Is the money that good for a GGG fight?
