Arum is trying to make Rigo vs Mares

He quite clearly wants to fight Mares. He's not bothered about Rigondeaux because it doesn't do much for his legacy and Rigo makes for boring fights. If he goes into his shell against Cordoba for the last few rounds imagine what will happen with someone as dynamic and powerful as Donaire

 

Mares turned down the 'joke offer' of $1 million already. He won't make that against Rigo. Not a bad idea really. If Rigo beats Mares there is no argument left against him not fighting Donaire. In all likely hood this gets Rigo one more win before his likely loss to Donaire so it works well for the promoter too.

 

if this is right ,..mods i would like my thread unlocked where i said donaire will fight darchinyan.

also this is just a way where nonito doesnt have to fight both of them.

 

make the fight happen, at least the winner will get a huge popularity boost cause that cuban is lacking fans except here on ESB. Rigo and Mares were already campaigning in 122 even before nonito so how come they no fight each other? But when nonito went to 122, haters want him to fight both.

Although I hate the darchinyan fight, I think he should fight mijares or terrezaz instead if the other 2 will fight each other
