OK. I can accept that one. Still PAC accepted May 5. Unless Mayweather accepts, what Arum says doesn't matter. If May, concedes the 50/50 and then Pac doesn't accept it, then it is back on Pac. Right now, it is on May. Nobody believes Arum until it suits their purpose. If he is a liar that can't be believed, then stick with that position. Don't tell me "yesterday he was lying, today he is telling the truth".

 

I hate this logic. If Arum says something that makes him look good or Mayweather looks bad, then there's a good chance he's lying because he'll have something to gain.

Plus what is he lying about now? Yes he's definately lying that the fight is impossible to make on May 5th That's a very big lie

I misread what you said :yep I thought you were saying that what Pac says is all the matters and what Arum says doesn't matter when it comes to negotiating.

 

This is simple. Pac accepted May 5. Floyd said no to 50/50. If Floyd believes Arum is lying, let him call Arum's bluff. We both know this isn't gonna happen. Arum can say what he wants because the ball is in Floyd's court and it isn't coming back out. You can't use what you THINK might be Arum's next move to blame him for this fight not happening. Until Floyd moves, it is on him. NO way around that. You can band together with your buds here and pretend your opinion on this matters, but it doesn't. The boxing world is now looking at Floyd. If you don't know that, you should. Floyd was winning the PR war until he made the phone call. Now he isn't. This is not really debatable. Floyd will take the heat on this one as it now stands.

 

As I have said before and I'll saying it over and over again: Manny Pacquiao has fought Oscar, Hatton & JMM on "Cinco de Mayo" Weekend. But for some reason (extra seating in some newly built arena) Pacquiao can't fight Mayweather on "Cinco de Mayo" Weekend. FMJ and GBP reserved and contactually agreed to fight on May 5th at the MGM Grand...and also ANNOUNCED IT ALMOST A FULL 3 WEEKS prior to the Pac vs JMM fight...IN OCTOBER!!! So Arum can get Pac vs Clottey done in less than 2 months and rush to get Margarito a Boxing Liciense...but can't make a BIGGEST FIGHT IN HISTORY when FMJ Announced IN OCTOBER that May 5th set and ready?

As one poster has already noted...FMJ vs OLH is the most highest selling PPV fight in History that happened in the same arena, and didn't need extra seating to break PPV records....

From the start we should have known the fight wouldn't happen. After all arum did start by saying "absolutely not" when asked if there was a chance pac would fight floyd next. How quick people forget things like that when it doesn't fit their stance.
