Due to Arums actions (and non actions), Pacquiaos image has somewhat come over to the public as a ducker/runner (even though the reality might be different).
Due to Arums actions it has been portrayed like Pacquiao doesn't really care for the fight because he doesn't really think he can win (even though this might not be the case in reality).

All this has made the superfight less attractive for me as it was before.
Somehow it doesn't seem as competitive as it seemed before (due to the belief by Arum that Pacquiao cannot win).

Pacquiao needs to come out and say something to boost the confidence of his fans (and his own), because right now I think Floyd-Martinez is more competitive and more of a superfight than Floyd-Pacquiao.

A statement like "Pacquiao:'I really believe I can beat Floyd. I have seen flaws'" might still reignite this fight, but the hype has already suffered badly imo.

    Anyone else sees the same?

I think it will all be quickly forgotten should their names be committed to the dotted line, to be honest.

Agreed. Yeah, it will be a little too late and it probably won't live up to the hype, but fans are fickle. As long as you give us what we want we're happy.

The fight would still probably be the richest in boxing history.

2 years overdue, the tiresome PR games, Pacquiao struggling with Marquez....it doesn't matter.

Many, many people will still pay good money to see it.

I was just about to point that out...Arum seriously needs to leave the sport and I'm talking about for good...He's killing the sport and is only looking at things to line his pockets while giving us paying fans the big ole middle finger.

    I hate this old hag.:verysad

It lost all appeal for me after watching Marquez expose Pacquaio and get robbed. That confirmed Pacquaio to me as a bit of a hypejob, it's not even a competitive fight. Really should have happened in 2009, it will be a happy day in boxing when Bob Arum ****s off.

True. IF the fight is signed then everything that has gone on over the past two years will just add extra spice for the promotion and build up to the fight if anything.
