:hatI dont know who is the good, the bad or the ugly. I love Arum, he is a criminal. King, waiving his flags and smiling in the middle of the ring and when you ask him something he just change the topic and de la Hoya, the good guy but sometimes i feel he is the hungriest of all, I have a feeling he is a cheap *******.

Who you think is the Good, the bad and the ugly?????

I hate to say this but don king is the best out of that bunch.....When there is a big fight, he makes it happen, you won't get bull**** out of king at the negotiating table....he just takes all the cash, and I do mean all

The bad, not so much de la hoya, but that weasel, schaefer....I think it's clear they stack the deck for their fighter like no other promo company does...

    The ugly, bob arum

King actually killed a man...many years ago when he was a number runner.

Arum has been investigated and or fined for match fixing or bribing officials on more than one occasion. Arum was sued by Oscar for tortious interference with a contract for inducing Pac to break his contract with Golden Boy. The reason they settled was in part due to the fact that the damages award could possibly have bankrupted Top Rank, Arum, and Pac.

Oscar, so far the worst thing he was involved with was the dissolution of Robert Guerrero's contract with his previous promoter.

I don't really think at the moment that either of them currently offers exactly what the public wants.

They're promoters. None of them can fit the bill of good. ODLH is as close as a promoter is going to get. That's not saying a whole lot. Arum is the bad, Don is the bad but more fun. Well, he used to be. Now he's actually more of a background guy than Arum. This doesn't work. How about instead of the good, the bad and the ugly we can have the *******, the dastard and the noob.

I didnt know King killed a man, he looks like a nice crazy dude like he enjoys life, I still think he is the good out of the 3.
He gives the people the best fight he can and that cost money, there is always like 6 interesting fights and A and B fighters on his promotions.

De la hoya is the bad because he is the one who started raising the ppv from 39.99 to 44.99 then 49.99 and now 54.99. I know its all business but damn... give the people some of their moey back but promoting good undercards.

Arum.... what can i say... just a criminal... and ugly criminal

I think it is ridiculous that all of them exist, just get rid of these guys and let them fight each other like true competitors

Just like a tournament, whover is the mandatory, thats who you fight and let them fight every 2 months, nowadays fighters are pussies and mayweather is one of them

    You got it all wrong.

Hoya was the one sued by Arum for tortous interference and not the other way around,.

That is because at the time when they let Pac sign a contract with GBP, Pac is still legally a Top Rank fighter.

By arbitration, what GBP got from Pac is actually just minority co-promoter while Arum was the Majority one.

The thing with GBP is that their fighter always win in fights ending in decisions, plus they pirate fighters other small organiztions developed. So I do not know if GBP is much worse than King or Arum considering that GBP is just infant realtive to those two.

Another thing that bugs me is how they sold JMM out in the Mayweather fight . Instead of protecting JMM's interest, they wrangled him like sacrificial pawn in order to gain multi-fight promotional rights to future Mayweather fights.

I am glad for JMM he made good money but the size advantage was a joke and I cant believe mayweather didnt want to weigh in the day of the fight and no one said anything.
