Arum lining up Margarito or Mundine for Chavez Jr next

    They would stop the fight and say Rubio can't continue due to (insert refs excuse here) and award Chavez Jr the win :yep

    If Mundine can get this fight I'll be very impressed, even if it is only Chavez Jr. He has been all talk for years and years about wanting another big fight. Good to see him actually making an effort to land one.

    I'm one of the few people on this site that have done 2 things:

    1. Followed Mundine's career, watching a large number of his fights when I spent time in Australia, and finding streams/downloads for the recent ones; and

    2. Been impressed by him, largely due to me enjoying his style.

    But Mundine is slipping. No doubt.

    The Mundine of 5 years ago whoops Chavez Jr. As in, stops in with ease after dominating.

    The Mundine of today... not to sure.

    margarito kills junior, but the only way Arum allows this fight its if he bribes margo into losing- wich i see can be easily arranged.

    Chavez Jr walks into the ring weighing 180 pounds and Margarito's power hasn't carried up to 154, nevermind 160. This is problematic enough, but beyond that Margarito looks completely shot. No idea why anyone would favor him in this fight.

    Chavez had to fight Martinez for a year but Sulaiman ordered his precious Board of Governors time after time to push the fight back. Hell, Martinez is not the mandatory but the champ, yet he finds himself unsuccessfully challenging his no1 contender... Huh? Only in Mexico.
