Arum made up negotations out of whole cloth?

    Here's what you have to believe if you say yes.

    Arum made up a false story in which he places the head of HBO boxing -- his most important business partner -- as an invented mediator between Top Rank and Mayweather.

    You have to believe that Ross Greenburg sat idly by while Arum delivered this outright lie and that Arum was unconcerned that Greenburg might be slighly upset at having been cast in the fictional role of a go-between and would likely be called out as a liar in the sports media.

    You also have to believe that Arum fooled GBP (De La Hoya and Schaefer) into believing these fake negotiations were happening and, moreover, persuade them that a (non-existent) "gag order" was in effect.

    ummm no.. how is that more believable then simply ellerbe lying about it ? of course you are right.. but Ellerbe was just satisfying the *****'s.. they'll believe anything

    They were half ass negotiations at best, both parties want the fight next year and are making excuses for not doing it now.

    could be true, but Pacman has openly stated his desire to fight Mayweather in November , while Mayweather of course has only talked about how disinterested he is in that

    this too... many people here are so sure that they know whats going on...

    how can anyone here be sure? All we can do is speculate and use common sense...

    unfortunately many on here have no sense at all... common or uncommon

    We have to, sr just went on the radio and called pac a ****** and a sissy.

    He also said "yeah, he should be scared of a guy who has them damn drugs in him"

    When describing why floyd is scared of pac.

    He just made things 10 times worse.

    all sides have spoken, we heard from arum, haymon, and greenburg

    Ya this is the bull**** thing about this whole situation. Everytime this guy opens his mouth he's basically admitting that he's planting the seed of doubt in his own son's mind. Worse yet it looks like he might actually be out right trying to convince him not to take the fight.

    I'm all for the drug testing. Thats a good idea but **** man I'm of the opinion that whatever pac is on he'll get whooped anyways. Floyds just too good at hitting and not getting hit.

    I don't know who to believe anymore.

    Floyd - **** boxing for now.

    Snr - Fight didn't happen due to emmaneul thinking he should get 50%

    Jeff May - They never even agreed to blood testing

    Roger May - Fight will happen because Floyd wants to make that big boy check

    Ellerbe - There never was any negotiations
