At least we know Mayweather is in charge of his own decisions. Pacquiao? Nope. That's Bob Arum territory because he owns Manny. Sad but true.

Basically, it doesn't matter what Pacquiao thinks. It's up to Bob Arum.

they both don't really care and that's the bottom line of the original post. Hope you enjoyed your tix watching a BS KO a couple of weeks ago.

I was going to make this thread yesterday

    Pacquaio: I don't need Mayweather
    Mayweather: I don't need Pacquaio

Mayweather's not trying to chase the fight, Pacquaio/Arum aren't chasing the fight or trying to make concessions to make it happen. Arum pulled out of the first negotiations, Mayweather is demanding blood testing and who knows maybe 100million, Arum hasn't convinced Many to take blood testing until the day of the fight

Arum and Mayweather both know that once either Pac/May lose, that will be the end of the claim of P4P no1 status and the end of 1million+ PPVs

Nothing BS about a KO when the fight is on. No such think as a "sucker punch" in a live fight, sorry. The only sucker in that ring was Ortiz, and he got KTFO.

I think some of them do care, but Bob Arum is holding all the cards. That fight doesn't happen unless Bob Arum says so. It's a fact. Both Mayweather and Pacquiao can express the desire to fight, and it won't matter. It's all up to Bob Arum. He runs Pacquiao.

Where do you think all this "we don't need each other" crap comes from? Mayweather knows Arum holds on the cards, so why even bother. Pacquiao knows he can't do anything without Bob's approval so he goes with the program. Mayweather would be better served calling out Bob Arum, than Manny Pacquiao, in order to land that fight.

Fact is: Only one of these two fighters controls who he fights next, and it is not Manny Pacquiao.

bradley signing with TR could have been for so many reasons but he is within pac's weight class so anything is possible. but i'm sure, just like before the pac-margarito fight, arum would try to negotiate for a floyd fight just like what happened before until floyd preferred to take his vacation.

and schaefer said that floyd would fight more than once a year. but during floyd's recent interview, he is not sure if he fighting again soon. that leaves out the 2012 fall fight with khan as the next thing for floyd.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

It's for one reason: So Bob Arum can keep all the money in-house for the match-up with Pacquiao.

Come on really? How are you Pacquiao fans so blind to Bob Arum? The guy is the Don King of the lower weight classes, seriously. The guy is a total snake and he is RUNNING MANNY PACQUIAO. He don't give a **** what you want as fight fans, seriously.

As a Pacquiao fan, doesn't it make you mad that Bob Arum is calling all the shots? Don't you think Manny should get some say in who he fights? I sure as hell do and it pisses me off that Manny lets a snake like Arum hang around. The guy has been robbing him for YEARS!!! The Mayweather/Pacquiao fight would have already happened with Arum OUT of the picture. Guaranteed.

He turned down 1.4 mil fight vs Khan. A month later Arum says opponents for Pac are Bradley, Marquez and Judah. Now Marquez is out the way that leaves Bradley and Judah. Tim fought since January out of nowhere signs with Top Rank, then all Pacs fights were in house.

I blame Arum. If anyone is afraid it's him. He's afraid of losing his cash cow. These bull**** fights, vacations, and ducking will continue as long as we continue to pay.

Floyd's stance is pretty much this.

He wants the fight to get made.
But Pac has to agree to the tests for it to get made
He also feels like he doesn't need to fight Pac

It's business that's all. You make the fight when it's the last fight of the fighter's career.

arum is just one of the equation. you forgot that floyd himself picks his own fights and would just fight anyone who GBP offers to him right? or did you forget the fact that floyd takes those long vacations and will come back with those set-up GBP fights for him?

i know you guys wants to pin all the blame to arum but floyd is also making this fight hard to make and he actually controls who he fights. well not 100% since schaefer would also prefer that he fights GBP fighters exclusively like floyd had always did since 2006. meanwhile pac has fought guys not from TR as recently as 2009.

Boxing will not return to glory until huge, fundamental changes in it's business model are made. Too many Chief's, not enough Indian's.

    Floyd wants it.

People are starting to realize what's really going down.

so let me get this straight

    pac gives a bs answer

arum is planning to make another fight

and floyd says "take the test"

yet both parties are clearly not interested and to blame?
