I don't know why people care about this fight anymore. I mean, I know why, but it's not going to happen, yet the only thing people seem to want to talk about is Pac/Mayweather. Reports are it will be Bradley facing Pac in the Spring, now that Bradley is signed with Top Rank. Arum has had fights lined up for Manny for ages now. Arum doesn't want the fight to happen, and neither Mayweather or Pacquaio have the guts to come together, for the good of the sport, away from promoters to come to some understanding to get the fight to happen, simple as that.

In My Opinion, Floyd only says that when people imply to him or ask him a question actin' like Floyd's career won't be **** if he doesn't have this ONE fight....ignoring all he's already done. So Floyd in defense of his career, says that. :p

Would you not say the fight would be next to impossible to make if either one of the two was refusing (think 2 to tango), regardless if the other really did want it?

Floy needs this "GREAT' fight to be "GREAT" he needs an adversary his Legend isn't complete without it. Finito Lopez retired undefeated and he was champion, but nobody gives a **** cuz he never had a defining moment that will be in people's hearts.
So if wants to go down as the fighter that he claims to be , he (Floyd Mayweather) needs this fight.

Pac fans will always blame the Mayweather camp and the May fans will do the same by blame-pointing their fingers to the Pacquiao side. Bottom line is, the fans lose here either way.

I think Top rank will still negotiate 1st for the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight after Pac-Marquez III, and if it still fails to materialize, they will work on Bradley.

I believe though that if the negotiation with May crumbles for the 3rd time, it's not gonna be Pacquiao's fault. He already agreed to the OSDT testing with no cut-off. It's Floyd who keeps bitching.

If this is a "Its all Arum's fault" then why is floyd the one demanding these stupid tests? who f'n comes out of retirement to fight the guy that lost to THE Man?

    Its done already...give it up.

I would sit and list all the damn fine fighters May has beaten, and how at different times thru out his career, it was fighters everybody wanted him to fight....

But I'll make it short and say in a career of 16 or so years, this Pacquiao stuff is only about the last two.

He fought big ass fights, plenty of them. But I do want to see the Pac fight too, obviously...haha.

I'm not the ones that says Floyd has fought bums, I'm just saying that his story needs a climax. Fight a fighter that people really demand. He needs a nemesis. A fighter that has the physical tools to beat you. Pacquiao.

I do see your point here, and I also want to see it.

All I was sayin' is it's not fair people who act like Floyd's career is **** if he didn't fight him (never meant you personally, just in general)....because it used to be Oscar De La Hoya people said the same **** about, or Shane Mosely, or, or, or....know what I mean? Like said, 16 years worth. Last time it was Cotto (cough**Bob Arum**cough) everybody said his career would be all ****ed up if he didn't fight, but here we still are.

But yeah.....come on mudder ****ers! Get it on! :yep:good

If we can only find a way to press charges on Floyd and Pac for not fighting each other. Do you think Mayweather just refuses to do business with Arum, is it a pride thing???

Well, haha, I'm a little more inclined to think it's Arum who doesn't want none....maybe a little pride/ego and also knowing these fights for 1M PPV he has lined up 3 at a time will go away. :p
