LOL....its no secret Floyd got himself a sweetheart deal with his promoters but Floyd was guranteed 22.5 million for his last fight...with PPV he brought in $40 million before having to pay out.

:patsch As usual, your #'s are off and you're wrong...Do some research before you try to act like you know what you're talking about! Do you have a source or you just pulled this # out of the clear blue sky?

Its well documented he was guranteed more than 22.5 mill.

No one but the actual people promoting/fighting knows the actual numbers, nor how they'll iron it out anyway so it's all moot.

    Bradley is getting 5 million.

Pacquiao will be lucky to receive 10 million.

    It should go 2 ways.

Mayweather gets 60mil guaranteed, Pac gets 40mil guaranteed and they split the rest of the rev 50-50.

    Or

Mayweather gets 50mil guaranteed, Pac gets 40mil guaranteed and they split the rest of the rev 55-45 in Mayweather's favor.

With 90-100mil tied up in guaranteed money there isnt going to be much PPV rev anyway. Which is why them fighting over % is silly.

Option 1 looks good, especially if Pac leaves Arum

    26 mill is the guarantee..

Any of you real life accountants / insiders wanna provide evidence that he's not making that kind of money, when Forbes just listed him as one of the highest paid athletes in the world, and had him earning 60+ mill in two fights?

Even if he was making this Money the *****s would still deny it so who gives a flying ****, I just want to know why the amount of money a fighter makes is so important to this particular group of people?

I mean lets be real, Fight fans, True fight fans want to see all of the top dogs face each other round robin style like back in the 90s and the 80s etc...

We never cared what a fighter made, we only cared about the fights.

However when you start talking about a fighters money and personal possessions that isnt a fight fan, that is no different than a groupie who has an obsession with that individual all together.

You guys, all this he has this he dont have that, I just do not understand why its important to you as a "True fan of the sport"
what a fighter makes does nothing for you or for me, so why are we concerned with it? we didnt get into this sport for the business aspect of it, we got into it because of what the sport potentially can give us as paying fans.

The business aspect of the sport is increasingly becoming the top reason for fights not happening, so it's hard for fans who care more about 'just seeing fights' to not care about it... As it's a major part of all negotiations in this day and age.

Why would he announce the number publicly and then pay him less? That makes no sense and would be a sure way to lose fighters.
