Definitely agree with you on Cotto vs Mosley. That first fight was as close as it gets and was one of the most under appreciated fights of recent years. I've watched that fight at least three times and am always captivated by the back and forth punishment these guys dished out. I would love to see those guys face off again this year.

Pac is a warrior but Im beginning to think Arum doesnt think he can win this fight. Too much BS, first its Floyd has to take 35%, then its Pac is fighting cotto now its some bs about Pac fighting them next year. What? Are you hoping for Floyd to get old? Arum WTF!! Roach already said he wants Pac to stay busy and fight in Nov-Dec so what is this POS Arum talking about.

Well Cotto is no push-over and not a easy fight. That would be Pac's hardest fight to date. I think Bradley would be a good fight, but less dangerous then the Cotto fight.

That's normal at this stage, Pac is getting close to retire in my opinion and that's what usually happens to fighters when it's close to the end. After everything he achieved it makes sense to only consider the big fights.

Arum (as with any fan) should be realistic about Pac's chances to beat Floyd and I think he is. Floyd due to him being likely the best defensive fighter active is a bad match up for anyone (within a reasonable weight range ).

Arum asking that PBF take the smaller portion of the revenue is the same postering that PBF has done saying he should get the majority. At the end of the day it will fall somewhere in the middle and doesn't mean PBF or Arum don't want the fight it means they are sending a signal you won't walk over me during negotiations.

Arum isn't waiting for PBF to get old because with his lifestyle by the time that happens Pacquiao will be long retired. It isn't a stretch to think if PBF wanted to he could pull a Hopkins and stay around at a high level for a long time.

I'm not certain what you mean by "Pac fighting them next year", it seems the only person he was indicating Pac would fight next year is PBF soon after he fights Cotto in the fall. First I would hardly consider that an easier schedule nor is it really that much longer a wait if we are really talking Q1 of 2010.

To my mind all it really does is marginalize the PBF vs JMM matchup even more and which will be likely long forgotten after Pac where to face Cotto. Giving Arum/Pac, should he win in dominate fashion (a bit of a stretch admittedly), a better position when they negotiate for the PBF fight. As again Pac will be coming off a big win and PBF will likely not have a big match before then.

we could have possibly seen a Pac/Mayweather fight in July instead of this nonsense tuneup garbage that Mayweather announced.

Though campaign period should start in April of 2010, with Pacquiao's defeat in 2007 election, I think he will be starting his campaign in December of 2009 so i doubt if any match can be made till after election time which is May of 2010...
The earlist would be June of 2010 cause even if he wins, it'll be July till he'll be assuming office and if he looses...that will be a consolation as well as a balming solace on his part.

why does PBF vs Pac need to happen this year? Hopefully Pac beats Mosley, PBF beats Cotto, and then PBf vs Pacman for ATG P4P and WW supremacy..

anything that keeps Pac away from retirement is imo a good thing
