    He said they got “into the bottom of it” and what they learned was that Pacquiao is not the “little fella” being talked about.

    It’s Erik Morales. Yes, Erik Morales. That’s what Arum said.

    “You know who the little fellow that they already approached? It’s Erik Morales,” Arum said even without being asked.

    “And Erik will confirm it – absolutely. Erik has been approached to make the fight. He’ll take it for the money. I’m sure he’ll take it for the money. Why wouldn’t he?” Arum asked.

    Cinco De Mayo... El Terrible... Swan song for one of Mexico's ATG? They can hype it around the fact that El Terrible arguably beat Maidana, a young hungry contendor with dynamite in his fists.

    Arum's saying that Erik Morales will confirm it. A very compelling statement and Erik Morales will ultimately have to address it. Stay tuned.

    Yes and Arum was legitimately considering Kermit Cintron and Zab Judah for Pacquiao's November fight.

    :-:)-:)-(Alright, for what it's worth, even if May was referring to Pac, we knew he'd only offer 40% on paper. That is after all what he's been doing when negotiations start. He talks about the testing, but when the papers come to be signed it's the money that stalls the bout.

    On the plus side, at least Morales is a WARRIOR and will fight Mayweather to win. He needs to petition for a catchweight though. 147 is just too big for him. He needs a bit of a handicap for this to be decent. Say 144 maybe. It might be just enough to slow May down enough to keep it close while it lasts.:-(

    Would rather see Madaina though. He's got that warrior mentality as well, and can throw a little harder and faster than Morales. To hell with defense.....neither can come close to Floyd if they're gonna play it safe.:shock:

    Rafael asked Ellerbe at the announcement specifically if by little guy he meant Pacquiao, and he said yes.
    Not sure what happened here, but I did read that in Rafael's chat.

    if "the biggest fight possible" = "the little fella" = Erik Morales...Floyd should not pass go, should not collect $40 million, he should RETIRE NOW. :lol:
