    Why does Mayweather suddenly get weary of Cotto whenever Cotto is with Top Rank and when Mayweather is not signed with Top Rank?

    Of course, he is just saying the above to further sell Cotto to the public, boost his rep and to make Floyd look back. It's just a part of business. Dont get wound up about it.

    Arum is a smart man.....

    1) He wants to get Goldenboy Shaefer to say something silly about Cotto to ruin any possible moves of Cotto to Goldenboy as a free agent

    2) As Todd Duboff mentioned; they won't get in the way of Cotto vs Canelo or Cotto vs. Mayweather and they truly want to make the fight happen....

    Either way, Mayweather vs. Cotto 2 will be more competitive than the first but still Mayweather wins. I would rather see it than Mayweather vs. Khan

    Yes you did. Now Mayweather is ducking someone he already beat with relative ease. If the first fight was close you have a case, but geezjus.

    To be honest, I see Al Haymon allowing Cotto to fight Martinez at catch weight of 156 or so, winning the belt; then having Mayweather face Cotto and win the middleweight championship... book it lol

    Not really.. if Cotto defeats Martinez which let's be honest here, TOP RANK is one of the best matchmakers in the business, weather people like them or not. If they want Cotto to face Martinez; they know why....

    If Cotto defeats Martinez for the middleweight belt, and apparently those negotions are deep already for the Puerto Rican day parade next year....

    Cotto vs Mayweather for the Middleweight Championship would be awesome!
