I really like mikey. He handles his business in the ring. That being said i dont think he wants any piece of Loma. Loma looks at Mikey as a basic fighter skill wise in comparison. I dont think mikey has a chance against loma in a boxing match. Only way mikey wins is by ko which is possible. If he cant get the ko he is taking the L.

I’m not sure, Mikey ain’t flashy but he very economical and accurate, his power puts fighters into their shells. It will be a tough fight but due to size and power I am gunna slightly favour Mikey, but it is 50-50 for me.

You can't slightly favor a fighter and then say it's 50/50...

I think you can, I don’t like sitting on the fence so even in a 50-50 I gotta edge to someone. It just means I’m not too confident in my pick.

Then you can say 51/49 or 52/48 in favor of Mikey.

Everyone knows that he was in line for Pacquiao, Lomachenko, or Crawford (or all three).

Mikey started calling them out AFTER he left Top Rank.

    No hate. Just facts.

you dont even begin to know or understand how negotiations for those fights went, as its done in house, not on forums. yet, you criticize mikey at every opportunity about chit you know nothing about, and then have the ovaries to say you LIKE mikey.:shakehead:

Mikey came out with that challenge out of no where. They might see Spence as an aggressive fighter that they can exploit but like others have said, Spence is a huge dude and breaks you down, he doesn't look soft at the weight either and it's all muscle. Spence said he's licking his chops for this fight because Mikey's midsection looks soft at 135 and he keeps his hands up, that's an invitation for Spence to destroy the body. I don't see how Mikey can leave the division with the type of challenge available in Loma without trying all he can do to get the fight. At least get into serious negotiations. Tell Arum what you want, see if he puts out any road blocks and call him out publicly.

That's funny because Bob is supposedly known for matching his fighters in-house. Are you telling me that had Mikey stayed w/ Top Rank, Bob wouldn't have let him fight Pacquiao (much discussed in the media), Lomachenko, or Crawford?

And does Mikey not have a history of calling guys out only to not fight them? Linares and Cotto come to mind...

Mikey left a promotional company that had THREE fighters that he's been calling out.

so what? fighters make challenges all the time, thats just an invitation to negotiate, otherwise they could just jump in a ring anytime and settle their differences.

he left because he felt he was being underpaid, what do you think has changed?

He made 3.5 mil against Lipinets apparently if that is true that is excellent money for a fight against a relatively unknown fighter.
