I replied to a poster suggesting Manny could stop Floyd because he stopped ODLH. I pointed out the fact that he stopped ODLH due to the accumulation of punches with his speed, as Oscar and his team both said he was too fast. NOTHING about power, which is the ONLY thing Arum mentioned.

It was not directed at what Arum said, it was directed at what another poster said. He brought up the ODLH stoppage, I simply said that was due to the accumulation of punches he took due to the speed difference in the two fighters. Had he mentioned Cotto or Margo due to how they looked post fight, it would have been a better comparison. Manny stopped Oscar mainly due to the speed difference, not his power which is what Arum is talking about..

And if Arum says Floyd has a glass jaw and Manny would stop him in 4 rounds, doesn't that indicate he's talking about his power? The ****?! LOL I'm not supposed to assume he's talking about the power of Manny when he's talking about glass jaws and early stoppages. I should try and ponder his short statements to grab the ENTIRE meaning instead of taking it for what it means to pretty much anyone else. LOL

I've always said Bob Arum is the reason the fight isn't happening. Floyd would have never fought Oscar if he didn't leave Top Rank. Bob knows what would really happen if they fight. He's been around boxing for to long not to know what will happen.
