Arum: Nobody can beat Manny Pacquiao

Barrera along with RJJ are my favorite modern fighters and I make no excuses for Barrera. In his best day, Pac's style would cause problems.

 

Barrera was a dirty fighter, but he deserves a tremendous amount of respect. The guy gave us great wars and great memories. He gave so much to the sport, beginning when he was only 15 years old. Plus he was able to come back from defeats and improve his game and overall versatility. That's what allowed him to have a longer career than Morales and perform at a higher level even in 2007. I consider that smart.

I don't see anything wrong with Barrera fighting to survive in the last Pacquiao fight. He wanted to avoid a crushing stoppage loss in his last fight, and with all the wars he's had, there's absolutely nothing wrong with him trying to preserve his health.

What do you mean by "a boxer is prime until he leaves the sport"? It's pretty clear that Vargas, Morales, Holyfield, and Hopkins aren't prime.

 

Arum is a promoter, but PAC is good and very exciting.

what arum is saying is part of the hype! some people take practically everything seriously. Some fans even analyze and disect everything is being said.

He is a promoter remember!!?!!!.

 

Those who will buy Arum's words will definitely buy PAc's PPV.

 

Arum talking **** like every other self-involved promoter. Marquez beat Pac already, and Pac has losses early on his career. He can be beat and has been.

Regardless, it's his OPINION that JMM won the first fight. Obviously it's listed as a draw. There are many who feel Marquez won the first fight, and of course many who feel the opposite as well.

I understand but the way it's written as if it's a fact. There a difference between an OPINION and a FACT!

Even if you agree on a certain opinion does it make it a fact? Sometimes we get confused with facts and opinion.

 

THATs what I want to hear. It's a DRAW. But how was it written. He clearly said JMM already beat pac. That's an opinion. Obviously there is A BIG DIFFERENCE between an opinion and a fact.

Funny thing is, you and I know that the jugdge admitted he made a mistake in the scoring so technically if it's was corrected pac could have won it correct? So in essense who was robbed?

Yup! If the fans don't like the results. They always claim they were robbed!
