Didn't mention a rematch with Rigo. I guess Rigo's gonna be left fighting Mijares ( who in my opinion won against Terrazas) Rigo is in Bob Arums black list.
Well from a promoters POV, there's more money to make in Donaire vs. Terrazas/Mijares than there is in Rigo vs. Terrazas/Mijares. Ideally, they'd each fight one of them in their next bouts. I'd like to see Donaire/Mijares and Rigo/Terrazas. I've got a bad feeling Darchinyan will end up fighting one of these four guys next time out. No need for Donaire/Rigo II until Donaire can get some momentum under him again.
I don't think the exact same fight happens again. Rigondeaux doesn't change, but Donaire comes in more wild, dirty and more active, like he did the round where he knocked down Rigondeaux with that cheap knock down where he got an unsuspecting GR who thought they were going to be broken up or make some space between each other before resuming to fight. But ultimately, I think Rigondeaux wins again, but this time with Donaire being more active.
And oh yeah, Donaire back to fighting guys we know he'd beat. Other than Rigondeaux and Mares, I guess Darchinyan is the next best guy. But these fighters like Terrazas who's at the bottom of the top 10, Mijares not even a world class fighter, these are the guys Donaire will fight and the guys he has always fought before Rigondeux with the exception of Montiel, Darchinyan and Mathebula. I was not sold at all on Nishioka, Vazquez Jr [WTF?], Arce [Oh my lord!] 2012 FOTY? LOL.
