Interesting situation here Step aside greatly benefits AJ as Usyk may lose to Fury. Fury gets a chance at undisputed vs Usyk. I believe this fight favors Fury. Usyk does not benefit here as he already beat AJ and knows how to do it. Usyk best course of action is beat AJ again make millions then fight Fury and possibly lose.
Yeah the offer is fishy as ****. I just thinks it's Arum trying to divert some interest to the upcoming Fury/Wilder fight, a fight nobody really thinks is necessary hence why they've loaded the undercard.
This is just Arums way of keeping in the public eye as he knows even tho Joshua v Usyk was last week people still hold more interest in the aftermath of that fight and the mega rematch early next year than they do in the Fury Wilder trilogy. This is all it is, and he could get nowhere near the amount needed to satisfy Joshua and Hearn to even begin thinking about stepping aside.
I think nobody care about this fight currently. And everyone is talking about Usyk and even AJ, will he change his coach, will he.improve for the rematch, what he can change and so... I just hope Fury shows up this time and end Wilder for good. If he loses there that will be terrible for the HW division, cause Wilder will milk the title till he retire.
Technically he is, but boxing isn't all about technical ability otherwise Wider wouldn't have ever held the WBC title.
Seems like a win-win situation for Joshua to me He will get a step aside paycheck for not fighting, take a stay busy fight in the meantime ,and then fight for ALL the titles, and get a chance at being unified champion, instead of winning” part of the title” back that he lost to Usyk
If I were Usyk I'd push for the rematch sooner rather than later. AJ vs Old Usyk might not be so much fun.
