I agree Castillo's style gives PBF more problems than Cotto's will. Castillo's pressure bothered PBF alot more due to his inside fighting skills and his more varried body attack. Cotto throws pretty much that same easy to see coming left hook. Sure Cotto has a better jab but JLC is better at applying pressure and cutting off the ring than Cotto ever was.

ever heard of the term double-standard???? Supposedly Judah was a threat to Cotto but the best in the world PBF isnt if you let his faithfuls tell it.

Saying Judah WAS NOT a threat to Mayweather, and yet an inactive 0-2 Judah IS a threat to Cotto - is a double standard.

PBF-Cotto will happen. You can't take anything Arum says seriously. He's always looking for angles and ways to leverage a fight. If they both keep winning, the public and HBO will demand it.

you have a better understanding of what goes on in the ring....do you think Larry Merchant knows more about strategy, skills, training, and styles than say Roy Jones or George Foreman.

It has plenty to do with it. Malignaggi, Mosley, an Judah arent pure boxers. Just fast of foot and hand but arent as well schooled as Mayweather who has the same athleticism as they do. Mosley and Judah are usually aggressive and used reflexes to get out of harms way, whereas Malignaggi uses his legs but dnt have mastery of the nuances of the sport....slipping,dipping,parrying bobbing, and weaving.

    100% agree, mate.

But then again, Judah was ALSO a threat to Mayweather. To say otherwise is ridiculous.

You can doubt all you want. Just as I doubt your claims being that you can't recognize the difference between foot speed and footwork being a 3 year veteran of the sport.

First your emphasis was on speed. Now it seems to be on variety. :huh How about a little consistency, please.

Just as nobody said Cotto's win over Judah "proved his greatness"

Ummn...Shane Mosley was on most people's P4P lists when Cotto beat him. Are you saying a win over Hatton is better than a win over Mosley? :rofl Stop it man, you're making this too easy.

Yeah, a true world champion who had one fight at welterweight, where he looked like ****, was nearly KO'd, and won a controversial decision by the skin of his teeth.

Someone undersands what I mean....JLC threw better combinations to compensate for his slightly slower hands...Cotto has faster hands but is more predictable. Castillo was the bes infighter in the game for years and is better than Cotto is at this point at applying 12 rounds of pressure

it doesn't have any relevence to what we were talking about, we were comparing fighters and you just used the old "i boxed i know more" line because you became desperate,

you tried to back your statement (cotto is a slow plodder) up with "i've been in the ring, you haven't".
