    No doubt.

Marquez is an exciting and a great fighter, but only his fanatics would want to see him at 147 against Pac, or even at 140. And fewer people will give him a good chance to beat Pacquaio at those weights.

Many people don't give him a chance, but many people also don't think Margarito deserves a shot at Pacquiao ahead of Marquez...or any of the other boxers who have called him out for that matter. I'd have Pacquiao as the heavy favourite in this bout, especially at 140lbs...but like someone has already said, there styles just go...so for however long this bout would go on for, it would be a good one.

Ive not read any of the posts in this thread but all im gonna say is make this fight happen at 140lbs. Thats the fight the majority of people will want to see.

That is legit of Arum. I do not want to see Marquez and Pacman fight. Pacman has so much more to prove. Marquez fights guys like Diaz.

Pacquiao would absolutely obliterate JMM @ 140 and above.

Make it happen Arum. No one wants to see the Margarito fight, he doesn't deserve it. I'm not paying for it.

First of all, who do you want this fight, I think JMM, which right now is just looking for a last big payday being in his twilight of his career. Now since Pac is fighting WW and looks like his comfortable with and even wants to get in with the top dog, as what others think, but unfortunately don't want to fight. I think it has to be in WW and not JWW as what you're suggesting.

Now, granting that the fight is a go at WW, it would be a complete mismatch, and also at the business side of it, would be a bust.

It's practically a no win for Pac even at 140. You can tell right now whoever he fight, no matter how challenging it may be there will always be excuses just to put the man down due to his unbelievable accomplishment and most of it in jealousy.

Pacquiao is waiting for Floyd to fight him at 147. Going down to 140 and then back up again to 147 to face Floyd next year is disadvantageous to him.

That is true. If a Floyd fight is on the horizon, it's better to stay and fight at WW.

I think he can deal going down and up. The question is why should he go down, just to accommodate someone who's desperate.

About Floyd next year, he can deal with the weight. My gut feeling is this fight this year would be his last, he already have another day time job.

I really want this Pac/Floyd to happen, it's a once in a lifetime thing for 2 best fighter of the world available, at same weight and at their peak, unfortunately one chicken out.

Huge fan of both of these guys (yes, it's possible... I actually love this sport), but Pac clearly won the first fight, and would have actually won it if Burt Clements had scored the first round 10-6 like he was supposed to. The second fight was much tighter, nevertheless Pac came away with the W.

If you go back and watch the tape on both of those fights (I'll reference the first one, as I just watched it yesterday again), you'll see a Pacquiao who is vastly underdeveloped compared to how he is now. He had great movement, but his offense was extremely limited. He also got caught with a lot of stuff from Marquez that I don't think he would today. Add the fact that Pac is a legit WW now, while Marquez has only tried (and failed) once to campaign at WW, and I think Pac wins a third match by complete decimation.

That said, I'd still spend my money on that fight over a fight between Pac & Margarito. That's some straight BS right there, and I ain't buying it.

Learn how to put capital letters and full stops in your posts and then I will respond to your comment calling me dumb.

Your post should be like this, 'Hey man, stop posting because you are becoming dumber everytime you post.'

    Am I still dumb?
