Arum's just pissed off that Golden Boy is unjustly getting the bulk of the HBO dates; especially seeing how his stable is richer in talent and more deserving of the platform.

Arum once again looks like a sore loser. Ortiz was originally with him, but when Victor switched promoters Arum started to speak BS. Even if he knew about certain weaknesses in Ortiz' game, going to the media with vengeance because he lost future money is a peace of **** move by a spiteful greedy creature.

Why is Bob Arum racist. i've heard this term thrown around a few times with arum can anyone back it up. Cause at the same time I remember always backed up Ali (not saying that this means he wasn't racist) and had Mayweather in his stable not to long ago

You hit the nail on the head there. It's not just the dates Arum's mad about, it's the budget- HBO's made other fighters (mainly GBP, but Dawson-Tarver II set them back a hefty chunk of change) a higher priority than Arum's fighters, and he's pissed about it because that leaves less money available for his fights, which makes it tougher to bring in a good opponent.

I think King's rep was a victim of his own success- he was the most profitable, most visible promoter in the game. That leads to more bull**** coming out about him, probably no small amount coming from rival promoters. My grandma was an old farmer with a TV set with 5 stations, doesn't even watch boxing, and she's heard of Don King. While he really pulled some **** on his fighters, he was a master at generating public interest and building up fights.

There aren't many people outside of boxing fans who even know who Arum is.

Arum didn't complain when everything was going his way, now it's a miscarriage of justice. Holy lord Bob.

I didn't call Arum racist, I said racism is the reason King is treated the way he is.

True but if King where white, he'd have been looked at in a whole different light IMO.
