Excues?? You are twisted up homie......those were facts. Knocking out a 37 yr old Casa who was clearly on the decline and a very good but limited boxer in Juan Diaz were good wins. But a PRIME JMM! PRIME! Wouldn't have STRUGGLED the way he did with that version of Casa and that kind of fighter in Juan Diaz had JMM been in prime form. He won...they were good wins but he himself was no spring chicken....the kind of talent and highly skilled, pure boxer that JMM is would have smashed Juan and destroyed Casa. He was in decline.:smoke

JMM is by far the better fight.....but moving up in weight is NOT as easy as PAC makes it look. Being in a new division...not having faught above 145 and jumping up to 154 against a guy who is longer, taller and bigger will present problems for a smaller fighter....PAC will or should win due to the talent difference, but to say JMM...THIS VERSION of JMM who shouldn't be fighting above 140....doesn't present much of a challenge for PAC at this stage of both mens careers.

At 140 JMM is not the fighter we all love and know at 135, 130 or even lower. You think I'm comparing JMM to Yuri when I'm really not. You have to look at everything with perspective! JMM is a GREAT figher at 122-135....anything above 135 and JMM looses those attributes and ability he had in weight classes he's comfortable with.. JMM presents little problems fighting at a weight where he is slower, sluggish, looses reflexs and power.

But we are talking about a good fighter in Yuri...who is legitimately a 154 lb fighter. Where PAC has never faught! I'm sure Yuri will be more durable and present more resistance than a past his prime, blown up light weight fighting at Jr WW.

I like April 4th if both sides can come to an agreement! But if they can't I don't see an issue with this fight if both Floyd and PAC are talking "TUNE UPS".

It wont be so much for money rather than pride. He wouldnt back down from the hatton negotiations over 1-2%...youre telling me he would have rather lost 15mil than loose 2% of the purse split? It wasnt the money, him getting 1-2% more in purse split was more about ego/pride rather than money.

Pac has beaten 3 guys in a row since Floyd has retired, no way anyone is telling him Floyd simply comes out of retirement and claims the bigger %. The world is talking about Pacquiao. I think Pac deserves the bigger share but 50/50 to get this fight done.

"When did he say that?" asked Arum, who added,"I mean, we’re prepared to fight Floyd Mayweather but the fight may have to happen on March 13Th, rather than May 1st. We’ll know that tomorrow. If Mayweather doesn’t want to fight Pacquiao, fine, then maybe Yuri Foreman will be a good opponent."

pacs team wants floyd in march, but i think floyd wants matthew hatton instead...tough move by floyd...:rofl:rofl:rofl

Jesus f'n christ. I'm very embarassed by the events. At least use Timothy Bradley as a bargaining chip. He's more legit than a Yuri Foreman.

No point in going after titles if you ain't gonna defend em.

Throw out the 135, 140 and 154 at this point if he fights just 1 fighter from each of these divisions.

Interesting matchup a bigger counter puncher. Good prep for Maywether. Pac struggles vs counter punchers. Not to mention a possible 8 weight champion

from 106LBS and gunning to 8th DIVISION (if the will indeed fight at 154LBS)is a ***** move .

But JMM moving up 2 WEIGHT divisions + PBF not shedding 2 excess pounds is an EXCELLENT MOVE!:hey:rofl

    CAREER DEFINING INDEED

March 13 is fine with me. As for Foreman nobody wants to see George or Yuri and if they set the fight up people should boycott such a fiasco.
Arum is being a bit of a comedian to humor himself. We all know Pacman vs. Mayweather can't wait and can't be disrupted by anymore prelims. Anything can happen why would the promoters risk a HUGE ppv by making
    another fight?

Foreman is a **** fight, but some you are tripping cause above 135 Foreman is a much stiffer foe than Marquez. Marquez is slower, more flat footed and just doesn't have the pop, he had at 126-130. Pac needs a top welter if he can't fight Floyd. Collazo would seem perfect to me.
