With a chance to ACTUALLY pass the torch to a fighter like Crawford, he instead takes the infinitely easier fight in Jessie "I am a club fighters sparring partner" Vargas. In the event Pac loses (which at this point who gives a ****, really) I would be convinced that the expired avocado paid the man to take a knee/hold off. **** Jessie Vargas. **** Jessie Vargas for 2 reasons. 1 he DOES NOT DESERVE THIS FIGHT but has been HAMMERED down our throats by Arum for the past 3 years. This fight was inevitable the day Arum brought Vargas into his office and played a game of "how does my gooch taste". Reason number 2, HE DOES NOT DESERVE THIS FIGHT because he has beaten NOBODY. Literally ****ing NOBODY. He was destroyed by Timbo before getting a lucky shot in the 12th, he didnt even deserve the rematch in that clash, let alone a high profile fight like this. What a horrible way to start the day. Hope this ppv bombs.
