Arum bashes Floyd every chance he gets, tell people not to buy the ppv and boycott the fight. Arum don't want to do business with GB. Pacquiao isn't ducking fights, but bob is blocking potential fights Pacquiao could have. He's going to keep selling us the same rehashed fights until Pacquiao is all used up.

    So true.

He's taking a business manager role and acting as promotor too, this is against all the rules that the others have to follow.

As his role stands as manager/advisor there is no reason the guys he manages cant fight on different shows.

But hes doing more than he's supposed to.

Haymon protects his fighters and we need up with boring ass events
That creates the bertos of the world when we want the pacquiaos

    This is about excitement

If haymon ran boxing we'd all go to mma because boxing would be dead

Look at Floyd's ducking, it's caused so much controversy because haymon in his ear told him to avoid his only challenge to keep the pay day

and he'd also get knocked out...

Bradley going to Top rank was a **** decision. He has 0 options... and all he achieved was losing to Pacquiao twice.

Khan already makex on average ATLEAST $1m per fight...why would he leave something good for a bump up of only a couple of mill? he is close to getting the biggest payday which is Floyd anyway...

    bradley got....

    1.1 mil against casa

    1.75 mil against provo.

    5mil against pac 1

    4.1mil against jmm

    6mil against pac 2

future options....i would guess 3mil in a ppv rematch fight against provodnikov.

about 5mil in a jmm rematch

free tv with rios, maybe 1.75 mil

1.5 mil (maidana money) against alvarado or anybody else on free tv.

thanks for replying. the truth is that with oscar in charge now, golden boy will freeze out haymon fighters. why should he put the event up like a mayweather event for a small fee? thats why mayweather makes more because gbp has been taking a small promotional fee/flat rate to put up a mayweather event.

schaefer was also backstabbing oscar. he wasn't signing/renewing fighter contracts. instead he was signing them to haymon/mayweatheresque deals. look at what khan did. GBP hasn't retaining fighters as a result and missing out on huge potential profit.

What this really forces is Haymon to actually enter the promotional side of the business. Most likely, he will have to. If he does GBP aligned fighters will flock to HBO. If he doesn't, then GBP forces them to all dump haymon and resign with them.

I guess people forgot Arum started this crap with Donaire when Mares wanted to fight him. Of course *******s are acting like it was Floyd who started it.

I think the Khan/Pacquiao fight would be huge, if done properly. I don't know how much interest it would generate here in the United States but I think it would definitely be a stadium fight in England. I know Arum has been trying to expand to the asian markets. A place like Kuala Lampur, Malaysia to me would be incredibly intriguing because you have a huge Muslim population. There are a number of both South Asian and Asian people living there. I would think Singapore would be interesting as well....but I think it's a very strict nation which probably prohibits boxing. Just in general, I think there are so many markets that could be tapped. Imagine a press tour hitting places like Dubai, India, ****stan, China, Hong Kong, etc. People don't realize the huge populations that exist there. India and China by themselves have 2 billion people. While boxing isn't very popular in these countries, I do think there's potential.

But again, we always come back to these politics that get in the way of exciting fights.

Bradley made a good decision earning a cool $5M and $6M for the Pac fight. Mayweather would not fight someone as risky or has an ugly style as Bradley.

Khan and Broner should fight each other first. Neither have done anything significant enough to get a direct shot at Pac or Floyd.
