    arum has made this statement a looooong time ago. he said he would never do business with haymon when the pavlik/williams fight was being negotiated.

    ortiz/berto wasn't protection....neither was collazo/berto, guerrero/berto or soto-karass/berto. those were all very good fights way more entertaining that pacs predetermined fights.

    interesting articles, thanks. i can see why arum feel he's wasting his time dealing with haymon (depending whose version we believe) but agree with goossen that it shouldn't prevent us fans from seeing the best fights. i reiterate, both sides are in the wrong, and finger pointing at just 1 is hypocrisy.

    Ridiculous request but its just as ridiculous as the request that Pacquiao drop Top Rank to do business with Mayweather.

    Both groups should get over their egos and do business.
