Arum: "pacquiao will never face a gbp fighter!"

over at the scene, he says pac will never face of with a gbp fighter because these slandered pacquiao's name. He says the only way to possibly fixing it is for them to give a public apology to pacquiao.
This sucks because of this bull**** feud we miss out on good fights, Oscar needs to be the bigger man here and apologize so they can make good fights again.

 

Maybe he's just trying to bait Marquez.

 

well GBP's oscar and schaeffer do not really value honor and integrity over money so they would probably apologize if they would have a chance to make money of pacquiao again.

meanwhile, arum is feeding of pac's emotion just to continue pitting pac against TR fighters or at least non-GBP fighters.

 

I wonder who is left at this point though, toprank has cintron.chavez jr,mike jones, wolak, cotto that might end up fighting pac at 147 or above from what I see, and fighters that are currently not with gbp like bradley and martinez also are options because of it. but it means we will never see pac face ortiz,alvarez,maidana,guerrero,khan (eveenthough that was probably unlikely anyway) that will never fight him for sure, if they would sort things out then we could have some great fights between toprank and gbp, its not just pac.

Well folks I guess this experiment is now over. Pacquiao is not going to fight anyone that doesn't have Bob Arum's name tattooed on their ass meaning we are going to get such classics as:

Pacquiao-Bum Murder(Chavez)
Pacquiao-Margarito II
Pacquiao-Cotto II
Pacquiao-Clottey II
Pacquiao-Foreman
Pacquiao-Gomez
Pacquiao-Cintron
Pacquiao-Jones

actually after mosley there will be marquez, and after that there will be 4 fights left according to the plan (depends of course, if pac gets ktfo then it might be less) arum can easily make 4 fights without involving gbp, mayweather,cotto 2, bradley, cintron, martinez, chavez jr etc. im more worried about other big fights not happening because of the hatred, like alvarez vs cotto for example or rios vs ortiz

Therefore any fighter wishing to fight Manny Pacquiao from GB must leave the GB stable to make it happen , ala Mosley , Marquez

Well lets be real how many fighters do GB have right now that qualify for a shot at Pacquiao , right now i can think of two , Khan and Ortiz , Guerrero would be a tune up and Alvarez is a genuine Jr MW , despite what people say .

Outside of them you have Mayweather , Bradley , Berto , Alexander , Williams (unlikely) , Marquez , Martinez (unlikely) , and ofcourse Cotto

I dont think there will come a time when Pacquiao has no other option than to have to fight a GB fighter until he reitires TBH , Alvarez if he's smart willwant nothing to do with Pacquiao the kids still 21 :deal , Khan and Ortiz are on a collision course with each other as well as there peers to contend with , Maidana will inevitably lose again soon and become irrelevant too !!

Lets say TR sign Bradley , Pacquiao beats Mosley , Mayweather beats Ortiz , Pacquiao beats Marquez and fights Mayweather in March / April 2012 if Floyd still doesnt want the fight Arum may have the unified JrWW champion primed and ready for a WW fight with Pacquiao .

Its not like he needs Golden Boy

 

Yeah, if we do look at it, the only guys on GBP's stable that can even fight Pacquiao are Ortiz and Canelo.

Outside of those two, everyone else isn't a GBP fighter.

Don't say Khan. Those two won't fight in forever.

However, I do think Schaefer and DLH do owe Pac an apology. The guy has never badmouthed either of them.

 

Arum is truly evil. This is why Mosley beating Pac this weekend would actually be good for boxing.

The problem with this is that Mayweather is still working with GBP, despite what Arum says. Mayweather said he still promotes fights with them, and really, who else will he sign to? Don King is nearly out of the game, and Arum doesnt really do co-promotions with anyone anyway (unless its an older fighter with a name that he wants a younger fighter of his to beat).

Signing with Gary Shaw or Lou Dibella wont do anything either.

He's basically saying Pac will never fight a non TR fighter. Even with Mosley (who is an old name) He has options on him if he wins.

The only way for this to stop: Arum must be somehow rendered unfit to run TR, or Pac has to lose, which really takes the wind out of Arum's plans.
