i was looking Corrales Vs Castillo 2 after the fourth round knockout, Arum is corner and huggin Castillo and im not sure if i hear it right, but was that Arum saying something like dont worry i give you the money. interpreter was there to and he translate that to Castillo. and the reason for the fine is of course is Castillo not making weight, i think it was 3 1/2 pound over lightweight limit. if it the case, it was nice thing what Arum did. Corrales vs Castillo 3 was the same thing, dont believe that Arum paid anymore:?
Arrum nice do not belong in the same sentence unless its 'Bob Arrum is the opposite of nice'. No ofcourse he didnt pay the fines he was just conning his fighter
Well actually Arum borrowed some money to Castillo. About 250k to pay the Comission fine.Nothing more.Castillo payed that money back.
Actually there are a bunch of stories about Arum helping people out.....I know shocking! But I remember one Boxing writer telling a story about Arum paying the rent and other expenses for a retired writer, who was dealing with alot of medical issues. The writer said that Arum could be a real ******* at times but had a human side too.
The fines aren't what Castillo is having to payoff, it the court ordered money he owes Coralles's wife for loss of money.
I believe this is accurate. Castillo owes the Corrales family money and thus is still fighting to pay them off.
Arum also said that because he genuinely likes Morales, he wont promote him anymore for his own safety.... of course, the real reason could be the fact that Morales is finished & wont generate the kind of money he used to for Arum these days to risk it...... mmmmm, we`ll never know :think
