exciting ****ing stuff, great performance this weekend against eastman showed he's deinatly stepped up his defence, much better head and body movement, was actually able to slip!never hurt even though he was caught twice, duddys chin is ridiculous, best since collins!it will be big enough with duddy fighting for the ebu belt back home, but with the prospect of pavlik on the horizon it makes it that bit special.give john his dues, for not turning pro until he was 24,hes done damn good for himself, his perfect record and sell out shows speak for themselves. yes he has been protected, but the way duddy starts fights and with kellys dodgy chin i give duddy a chance, but the probable outcomes a midway tko! it really would be something special! duddy abu
This fight doesn't excite me but I guess Duddy has to get his shot. I'd rather see Pavlik fight on of the other champions.
It could still be done but if Pavlik lost to Taylor i would expect a third fight although maybe not immediately
Nice pic. BTW I Think Abraham is his toughest competition out of the current middleweights. I still pick Pavlik, but that fight won't be so easy.
He isn't ducking him. Abraham need US exposure before Pavlik-Abraham makes sense. Would YOU fight Abraham if you can make more money against (the less dangerous) Duddy?
Aye, I would But then again I'm miles better than Pavlik, my defence is much better and I wouldn't look like a wasted teen on a Friday night after a few of Taylor's tickles Duddy is a dud
That pic was from the press conf. in NYC the other day kicking off the rematch. Yeah, I guess it won't be "easy". Most of Pavliks fights are tooth & nail until he gets serious & catches the guy with a debilitating shot & then its curtains for them. I don't see this one being any different.
