You know, I watched his fight from his debut to the crushing of Elcock last weekend - you may have seen 2-3 fights of Abraham...I also have seen Pavlik's last 5 fights...so I can well estimate how crisply that fight would be...
I like Pavlik a lot and his wins against Miranda and Taylor were very impressive but some people on here think he is some sort of invincible god.Thankfully Pavlik himself is well grounded and takes all of his opponents seriously.Abraham would be a big danger to Pavlik - its not a 50/50 fight but AA has the power to take Pavlik out
He's not invincible. Anyone can get caught. Look at what almost happened in round 2 against Taylor. KP has alot of things going for him. His rings smarts may be his greatest asset. His defense is underrated. He avoids alot of punches. But power-wise, which comes from excellent punching technique & that, combined with his lanky size & his ability to use that size to his advantage is what has made him a Champion with over 90% KO's for his career. With "0" losses, and he wants it to stay that way. AA will be another challenge. One that I believe KP can survive, become aggressive as he always is & eventually inflict mucho pain on Arthur.
atschas always people do not know what they are talking about...kelly is fighting duddy because they had it all set up before taylor decided he wanted a rematch..but after duddy it will be abraham...kelly has not nor will duck anyone
Pavlik should fight Abraham after Taylor. Thats the only one who could give him a fight. Fighting John Duddy is a joke. Come on! Who gives a **** they arranged a fight before Taylor.
It will be the most viscious and bloody fight of 08..Duddy may need a few pints..of blood after the fight. 07 bloody fight of the year goes to..Adrian Diaconu making hamburger out of Rico Hoyes face in 3 rounds!!!! Cheers
If the Arthur Abraham that fought against Shannan Taylor & Edison Miranda, turns up against Kelly Pavlik, he will get starched early.
